Issues of developing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Mongolia in the field of cinema, filming joint films, as well as further strengthening cultural ties between the two countries were discussed at the meeting.
The sides exchanged views on filming scenes of a film about Amir Temur and the Temurids, which is planned to be created as part of the Living History project. Mongolia has important historical sites, and some scenes of the film are planned to be shot in these places.
The Living History project is designed for 2024-2030 and is aimed at awareness of national identity, popularization of cultural heritage and transfer of historical knowledge to the younger generation.
