This achievement marks the international recognition of the unprecedented scale and significance of the complex, which is shaping a new level of presentation for Islamic scientific and cultural heritage.
The establishment of the Center was an initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, aimed at the profound study and wide promotion of the rich legacy of Islamic civilization.
Located within the Hazrati Imam complex, the center is distinguished by its magnificent architectural features:
Site area: 10 hectares
Building length: 161 meters
Building width: 118 meters
Dome height: 65 meters
Total floor area: approximately 50,000 square meters.
These unique characteristics served as the basis for the world record. The official certificate confirming its inclusion in the Guinness World Records was solemnly presented by the organization's representative Şeyda Subaşı.
Furthermore, the Center's museum has been recognized as the best museum in the Turkic world, providing additional international validation. Today, the Center of Islamic Civilization is not just a museum, but a large-scale scientific and cultural platform defining new directions in understanding and presenting historical heritage.
