At the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan, a business mission of the delegation of the WaterCon company to Uzbekistan was organized. During the visit, the company's representatives held talks at the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as the khokimiyat of the Jizzakh region.

The meetings discussed the prospects of growing agricultural products, their deep processing and the introduction of modern technologies.

Following the negotiations between the WaterCon company and the khokimiyat of the Jizzakh region, a memorandum of understanding was signed.

According to the document, a modern olive plantation will be established in Yangiabad district on an area of 500 hectares. As part of the project, it is planned not only to grow olives, but also to process them and then produce finished products.

In the next stages, industrial processing of olives, packaging of finished products and their export to foreign markets under the "Made in Uzbekistan" brand are planned.

The parties also identified further steps to create the necessary infrastructure and organizational arrangements for the launch of the project.
