A 37-year-old citizen, B.A, born in the Samarkand region, who hid in the Republic of Türkiye after taking out large loans in Uzbekistan and failing to repay them, was detained. As a result of cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan and Türkiye, the individual was identified, detained in accordance with the established procedure, and returned to Uzbekistan for legal action.
Currently, investigative actions are being carried out against citizen B.A. in accordance with current legislation. The Consulate General urged citizens staying abroad to strictly comply with existing laws.
