A formal welcoming ceremony featuring national songs and dances was held. The state flags of the two countries were raised, and a guard of honor was lined up. The national anthems were performed by a military orchestra.
Today, the leaders will hold bilateral talks. The program also includes visits to several historical sites in ancient Bukhara, a familiarization with the activities of industrial enterprises, and other events.
