It was
noted that since 2019, the number of students at the Tashkent branch of the
university has increased from 360 to 7 thousand people. In addition, the branch
has been awarded the title of "Brand of the Year" for three years in
a row, which was the result of a high level of trust, the introduction of
modern educational programs and attention to the development of the education
system.
During the
negotiations, special attention was paid to the construction of a new campus,
the expansion of educational infrastructure and the formation of a modern
educational ecosystem that meets international standards.
It was
reported that, in accordance with a government decree, the university was
allocated 20 hectares of land. An academic building for 4,800 places and a
student dormitory for 500 places are being built on this territory.
The parties
also reached an agreement to extend the International Management Services
Agreement (IMSA) on new terms. It was emphasized that this document would bring
cooperation to a new level.
Following
the meeting, the parties confirmed their intention to continue implementing
joint initiatives in the field of higher education, science and innovation.
