During the visit, Transport Minister Ilkhom Makhkamov held meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Communications, Railways, Maritime Affairs, the Ministry of Trade, major transport logistics companies of Pakistan "NLC-Logistics" and "TCS".
During the negotiations, further steps of cooperation on the development of multimodal transportation between Uzbekistan, Pakistan and Afghanistan along the Trans-Afghan Corridor, reducing the amount of fees charged during transportation, simplifying cargo transportation processes and accelerating the implementation of the Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan railway construction project were determined.
