The entrepreneur began his activity in 2007 by producing building materials and implementing projects worth $20 million from 2020 to 2023. Today, six production areas have been established on three hectares of land. Modern technologies were brought and installed from countries such as Russia, China and Slovakia.
Seven to eight years ago, the entrepreneur’s turnover was only 1 billion UZS. This year, the volume of production will reach 200 billion UZS. It is also essential that the enterprise provides permanent employment for 250 people. The Head of state got acquainted with the production process and products.
More than 3 thousand industrial enterprises in Uzbekistan affect the atmosphere. Most of the dust and gas cleaning equipment at these enterprises is outdated. Previously, this sector was completely dependent on imports, which led to delays in updating filters for years. Now, there is an opportunity to produce competitive local products and provide services in this area. In the first nine months of this year, dust and gas cleaning equipment was updated at more than one hundred enterprises.
This enterprise also contributes to this matter. Production volumes are growing annually, and product localization has reduced the cost price without sacrificing quality.
The enterprise’s products are exported to Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Azerbaijan. According to the results of the current year, the export volume is expected to be at the level of $1 million, and in the future, it is planned to expand the geography and volume of supplies.
Industrial goods from Navoi region were also presented here, including parts and equipment for heavy and light industry, compressors, electrical devices, copper and plastic pipes, pump parts. All of them are united by a common feature – localization.
The President emphasized the importance of further hydropower development in the country, giving instructions on expanding the participation of local enterprises in the construction of small and micro-hydroelectric power plants and the production of their components. It was noted that implementing localization projects for large enterprises such as the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company can reduce the unemployment rate in the region.
