On September 20, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, departed on a working visit to New York to participate in the events of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The President of Uzbekistan will deliver an address on the first day of the General Debate of the UN General Assembly plenary session and will hold talks with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, as well as with the heads of several foreign states and governments.
On the sidelines of the summit, meetings are also planned with executives of leading international financial institutions, along with events involving major American companies and investment structures.
On December 12 in Ashgabat, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, participated in an International Forum marking the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, the International Day of Neutrality, and the declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust.
