The President of Uzbekistan will deliver an address on the first day of the General Debate of the UN General Assembly plenary session.
It should be noted that the current jubilee session of the General Assembly will address pressing issues, including ensuring global security and stability, achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, reforming the UN system and the international financial architecture, combating the consequences of climate change, and other contemporary challenges.
On the sidelines of the summit, the Leader of Uzbekistan will hold talks with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, heads of foreign states and governments, and executives of leading international financial institutions.
As part of the business program of the visit to the United States, meetings and events with the participation of major American companies and financial and investment structures are planned. The signing of a package of new agreements and contracts is expected.
