President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has departed for Kyrgyzstan on a working visit.
Today, the Head of state will participate in the Second Summit “Central Asia – European Union” in Cholpon Ata.
It is also planned to hold several bilateral meetings on the summit’s sidelines.

On March 14, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received the Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Volodin. The meeting focused on key issues of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Russia.
On March 13, in the Palais Bourbon in Paris, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, met with the Speaker of the French National Assembly, Yaël Braun-Pivet.
The President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, hosted a state reception at the Élysée Palace in honor of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
As part of his visit to Paris, a ceremony was held to award the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, with the Order of the Legion of Honour, the highest award of the French Republic.
