Issues of further deepening full-scale cooperation with the Bank group within the framework of the new medium-term Partnership Program were discussed.
It was noted with satisfaction that at present the portfolio of joint projects exceeds $1.3 billion covering priority sectors of the economy. Within the framework of the forum, agreements were signed on the implementation of projects in the modernization of rural and transport infrastructure, the development of preschool education for $400 million.
The main attention was paid to enhancing practical interaction and promoting specific projects in supporting entrepreneurship and private investment, improving financial instruments, actively involving the Bank’s structures in project activities, as well as expanding technical assistance in the issues of Uzbekistan’s accession to the WTO and the creation of an innovation ecosystem.
