On June 24, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Mongolia on a state visit at the invitation of the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh.
According to the visit program, bilateral meetings and high-level events will be held in Ulaanbaatar.
Discussions will focus on further developing the multifaceted relations and expanding practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Mongolia.
On December 11, upon arrival in Ashgabat, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
On December 10, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on ongoing work and plans to combat corruption and to improve and digitize compliance controls.
On 25 November, an extraordinary session of the Samarkand Regional Council of People’s Deputies was held. President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in the session.
On 18 November, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the Asian Development Bank led by its President Masato Kanda.
