The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, welcomed the President of Uzbekistan at the airport. A guard of honor was lined up in honor of the arrival of the Leader of Uzbekistan, and the national flags of both countries were raised.
Today, the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will hold an informal meeting. The agenda includes expanding practical cooperation in trade, industrial collaboration, transport and logistics, energy, agriculture, and water management, as well as continuing active interregional ties and cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
The heads of state will also exchange views on international policy matters and regional cooperation.
