The state and prospects of development of Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership were considered.

The current high dynamics of multifaceted cooperation were noted with satisfaction. The volumes of mutual trade and cargo transportation are growing, and air traffic has been fully restored. Cooperation projects are being successfully implemented in various sectors of the economy. The importance of further building up interregional contacts, cultural and humanitarian exchange was emphasized.

Views were also exchanged on the current issues of international and regional agenda, taking into account the situation in Afghanistan.
