President of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar warmly received the President of Uzbekistan. A guard of honor was lined up for the distinguished guest, and a military orchestra performed the national anthems of Uzbekistan and Slovenia.

The two leaders walked along the guard of honor and greeted members of the official delegations.

Following the ceremony, a wreath-laying took place at the Memorial to the Victims of All Wars in Star Park – an expression of respect for those who have fallen and a reaffirmation of commitment to the ideals of peace and humanism.
