Following the talks held in Tashkent, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Paraguay Santiago Peña signed a Joint Statement.
In the presence of the leaders, a signing ceremony was also held for the Protocol on the completion of bilateral negotiations on market access within the framework of Uzbekistan’s accession to the WTO, as well as for the Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of an inter-ministerial mechanism for political consultations.

At the Kuksaroy Residence, negotiations were held between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Paraguay Santiago Peña, with the participation of official delegations.
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, will pay a working visit to the country on December 11-12.
On December 10, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on ongoing work and plans to combat corruption and to improve and digitize compliance controls.
