Earlier, Iranian officials said that if the measures taken did not produce results, the lake would dry up by the end of summer.
Although the Tehran administration has launched a major environmental project with a budget of $6 billion to restore the lake, due to the ongoing drought in the country, the desired result has not been achieved.
