Uzbekistan Airports has acquired two new ambulifts for Tashkent Airport from local manufacturer MCity. In total, four such special vehicles are currently in use at the capital's airport.

Ambulift is a specialized lift designed for boarding and disembarking people with disabilities into/out of the cabin of an airplane. The ambulift is a roomy covered body that opens on both sides. The body is designed for passengers in wheelchairs, for recumbent passengers on stretchers and accompanying staff.

It is worth noting that Uzbekistan Airports is systematically working to update and modernize its fleet of special vehicles. In particular, new machines for the supply of drinking water, apron buses, sewage disposal machines, universal cleaning machines at the airfield complex, aircraft de-icing machines, aircraft tow trucks, air engine start installations, ground air conditioning installations in the aircraft cabin, etc. were purchased.
