    According to the National Statistics Committee, as of January 1, 2025, the population density in the republic per 1 square kilometer averaged 83.6 people.

    The dynamics of population density over the years is as follows:

    1991 – 46.1 people;

    1995 – 50.2 people;

    2000 – 54.6 people;

    2005 – 58 people;

    2010 – 62.4 people;

    2015 – 69.1 people;

    2020 – 75.5 people;

    2025 – 83.6 people.
