    On May 28, the US migration authorities released information on immigration policy and border control measures.

    According to it, the priorities of the US immigration policy are:

    · prosecution for illegal border crossing and illegal stay;

    · prosecution of foreign citizens who have committed crimes in the United States.

    Regarding border control:

    · By order of President Donald Trump, the US Armed Forces are assisting the Department of Homeland Security in ensuring full control over the southern border.;

    · Special zones (National Defense Areas) have been created under the jurisdiction of the army. An attempt to illegally enter there will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

    Individuals who have entered the United States legally but have violated their stay or laws risk being arrested, fined, denied visas, and deported. A lifetime ban on entry to the United States is possible.

    There is a Voluntary Departure Program for those who violate migration rules.:

    · Illegal migrants must leave the United States immediately.;

    · A financial incentive program for voluntary departure is available through the CBP Home App.

    At the same time, the United States will continue to accept legal travelers:

    · The United States still welcomes legal travel;

    · violation of the visa regime, laws, or conditions of entry leads to visa cancellation and deportation.

    The following measures have also been taken against abettors of illegal migration:

    · New visa restrictions have been introduced against officials and others who promote illegal migration;

    · Several criminal gangs involved in migrant smuggling have been recognized as terrorist organizations;

    · Countries that refuse to take their citizens back may face severe restrictions on entry to the United States for their citizens.

    In this regard, the United States calls on foreign governments to bring these provisions to the attention of their citizens in order to prevent their possible arrest, deportation or criminal prosecution in the United States.
