During his stay in Seoul, the President of Uzbekistan will hold talks in narrow and expanded formats with the President of the Republic of Korea Lee Jae Myung, the Speaker of the National Assembly Cho Jeong-sik, and the Prime Minister Han Seong-sook, as well as with heads of leading Korean companies and financial institutions.
The parties will consider strengthening and expanding the special strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Korea, deepening cooperation in priority areas, and intensifying cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
The President of Uzbekistan will also attend the first Central Asia – Republic of Korea Summit, which will discuss prospects for cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, infrastructure, digital transformation, science, technology, and more.
The Seoul Declaration is expected to be adopted following the summit.
