President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has departed for Khorezm region.
The visit agenda includes reviewing ongoing projects across various sectors of the economy and commissioning major facilities.
It is also planned to identify priority tasks for the region’s further socio-economic development.
On December 11, upon arrival in Ashgabat, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
On December 10, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on ongoing work and plans to combat corruption and to improve and digitize compliance controls.
On 25 November, an extraordinary session of the Samarkand Regional Council of People’s Deputies was held. President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in the session.
On 18 November, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the Asian Development Bank led by its President Masato Kanda.
