The enterprise was commissioned in 2019. Modern equipment from Switzerland, Germany, Turkey, China, Japan, Malaysia and South Korea were installed. More than 172 types of drugs belonging to more than 20 pharmacological groups and medical products are produced here. The annual capacity is 60 million units.

The President examined the medicinal products of the enterprise.

“Previously, the opportunities in pharmaceuticals were not used. Medicines are still imported from abroad at great expense. That is why we are strengthening the base. We are paying the main attention to personnel training, the introduction of innovations, and the development of science. Now production will be of high quality”, the Head of the state said.

The need was noted to attract students of the pharmaceutical institute to the enterprise, and conduct theoretical studies in conjunction with practice.

The enterprise has established successful cooperation with leading European pharmaceutical companies, the Institute of Chemistry of Plant Substances and the Institute of Polymer Chemistry and Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan. This contributes to ensuring quality and expanding the range of products.

The level of localization at the enterprise has reached 65 percent. The production of injectable drugs in polymer ampoules was mastered using the Swiss technology BFS. The technology of production of latex surgical gloves has also been mastered. It employs 360 people.

Annually 25 million units of products are exported to Kuwait, Russia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan.

The demand for medicines from natural raw materials is growing in the world. The company researches the extraction of medicinal plants growing in Uzbekistan, the production of various products from them.

The President was also informed about the construction progress of the innovative pharmaceutical cluster Tashkent Pharma Park in Zangiata district of Tashkent region.
