The facility, part of Copper Processing Plant No. 3, has an annual production capacity of approximately 917 thousand tons of copper concentrate. It is equipped with modern industrial press filters, pumping units, and slurry and water circulation systems. The equipment has been manufactured in accordance with international standards and is distinguished by high productivity and energy efficiency.
At present, construction work has been fully completed. Three of the five press filters at the facility are in operation, while the remaining two are undergoing commissioning and adjustment.
At the filtration facility, technological processes such as the reception of copper concentrate after flotation, thickening and filtration of the concentrate, separation and return of clarified water to the technological process, and storage of the finished copper concentrate or its transfer to the next stage of processing, are carried out.
Today, about 130 employees work here.
The Head of State inspected the production process and finished products and spoke with workers.
A ceremony to collect samples of copper concentrate was also held here, with the participation of the President. The samples were placed in two containers and sent to the AMMC Museum and the State Geological Museum in Tashkent.
