As the Report reports, this is reported by KCNA.

"The General Directorate of Rocket Science of the DPRK conducted a test launch of the latest high-altitude and long-range anti-aircraft missiles being developed in the Sea of Japan," the agency reported.

It is specified that this is the first test "aimed at evaluating the tactical and technical characteristics of a new high-altitude and long-range anti-aircraft missile system" as part of the development of air defense technologies.

The launched missiles hit simulated air targets at a distance of 200 km.

"Kim Jong-un congratulated on the success of the test," KCNA said.
