The President of Kyrgyzstan warmly congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on his birthday, sincerely wishing him good health, family happiness, great success in his responsible activities, as well as peace and prosperity to the people of Uzbekistan.

The leaders discussed in detail key issues related to strengthening friendship, good neighborliness, and comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

The volume of mutual trade is growing dynamically, with industrial cooperation projects underway, including those facilitated by the existing Joint Fund. Practical activities continue on major regional infrastructure projects such as the China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan railway and the construction of the Kambarata Hydropower Plant.

The presidents also exchanged views on the schedule and agenda of upcoming bilateral and multilateral high-level events.
