Vega C rocket with Earth observation satellite launched from the Kourou cosmodrome

The Vega C launch vehicle with the Sentinel-1C satellite launched from the Kourou cosmodrome in French Guiana for the first time since December 2022.

According to the Report, the European Space Agency (ESA) broadcast the launch on its YouTube channel.

The launch took place at 18:20 local time (01:20 Baku time).

The Sentinel-1C satellite was delivered into orbit as part of the European Copernicus environmental monitoring program. Implemented by the European Commission in cooperation with ESA, this project is aimed at creating an autonomous multi-level system for monitoring the environmental situation on Earth.
