The Agency for Strategic Reforms has prepared a draft Concept for the development of the night economy, aimed at increasing economic activity at night, creating new jobs and attracting tourists.

When developing the concept, the experience of many countries near and far abroad, where the night economy is successfully developing, was studied.

The document covers 10 areas, including the development of 24-hour gastronomic zones, night markets, cultural and entertainment events, improvement of urban infrastructure, development of night transport and the introduction of modern technologies.

It is proposed to create streets and zones with round-the-clock operation (24/7). They are subject to requirements regarding safety, the availability of high-quality lighting, modern parking and sanitary conditions. The issue of managing these zones is planned to be resolved through management companies that will be responsible for providing high-level services.

Special attention was paid to the introduction of the position of coordinator for the night economy, which will play a key role in the development of this area. Its main tasks will include interaction with business representatives, coordination of events, monitoring the implementation of quality standards for services provided and ensuring the effective functioning of the infrastructure. This position will become a link between government agencies, the private sector and society, contributing to the creation of favorable conditions for economic activity at night.

In addition, the concept provides for the launch of the digital platform "Night City", which will provide information about round-the-clock services, events, night transport routes and other services.
