The meeting
was attended by Robert Capito, President of BlackRock, Thomas Donilon, Vice
Chairman of the company, Adebayo Ogunlesi, Chairman and CEO of Global
Infrastructure Partners, as well as Charles Hatami, Global head of the
company's Financial and Strategic Investors Group and Head of the Middle East.
The parties
discussed the launch of the Tashkent International Financial Center in 2027.
BlackRock is assisting in shaping the concept and structure of the Center.
In
addition, the prospects for the development of Uzbekistan and the region in the
coming decades were discussed at a joint round table with representatives of
the American business community.

is opening up for large-scale high-quality investments," said Saida
Mirziyoyeva.
