Saida Mirziyoyeva met with the First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia in Moscow

    An aide to the President of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, held a meeting in Moscow with Alexey Gromov, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.

    The meeting focused on issues of cooperation in the information sphere.

    "In the context of the rapid transformation of the media space, it is especially important to build an objective and stable information background. We discussed joint steps in the field of cybersecurity, countering fakes, and promoting standards of responsible journalism. We confirmed our readiness to organize practical consultations in Tashkent," Saida Mirziyoyeva wrote.

    During the conversation, the topic of labor migration and coverage of cultural diplomacy were also discussed. The information agenda emphasized the importance of a balanced approach to these issues, as well as the need to develop joint humanitarian initiatives as a tool to strengthen mutual understanding and trust between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Russia.
