The fire in St. Petersburg was extinguished in 30 hours

    Earlier, it was reported that a big fire broke out in a market warehouse in St. Petersburg. According to the latest information, the fire was extinguished for almost 30 hours. Experts estimate that the damage may reach 15 billion rubles.

    The head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered a criminal investigation into the fire. Starting tomorrow, the company will begin paying the first compensation to sellers whose goods were burned.

    The fire covered 70,000 square meters of warehouse space. At the time of the fire, there were more than a thousand employees in the complex. All of them have now been evacuated.
