There has never been such large-scale construction in this area before. After the “Karakul” Free Economic Zone was created in accordance with the resolution of the Head of state of August 13, 2021, the industry began to develop rapidly. Thousands of people will be employed in the local factories in the future, including specialists from other regions of the country. A new residential area is being built near the economic zone for their convenience and to create decent living conditions for their families.
The project consists of two stages and provides for constructing 71 multi-storey buildings with 1,380 apartments, educational and medical institutions, a mahalla center and service facilities.
In the first stage, 12 multi-storey buildings, a school, a kindergarten, and a polyclinic have been put into operation.
Here, the Head of state talked with mahalla representatives.
“Where the “mahalla of seven” thinks and acts as a single team, there will be neither unemployment nor crime. It has enough powers to do this. It is necessary to attract responsible organizations and help people earn money. It is important to be aware of the quality of education in schools and to guide graduates towards obtaining higher education and acquiring a profession in demand”, the President said.
Instructions were given regarding improving the territory and roadside areas. In the future, a park and swimming pools will be organized on the neighborhood’s territory. Trees will be planted in vacant areas and turned into alleys.
