The Head of the state noted the merits of the deceased in ensuring the wellbeing of people.

“Karim-aka [addendum implying respect for a person – trans.] was a bright person with a great heart and exceptional hard work. His input into the efforts to transform Bukhara has been enormous. And he planned to do much more. Honest and faithful, not sparing himself, Mr. Kamalov worked for the good of people. The injustice he suffered once and the thorny days thereafter could not help but affect his health, too. Our nation will never forget his selfless service”, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
