Prince Al Faisal and Mehmet Kasapoglu noted that they are glad to see all the countries participating in the competitions united under the auspices of sports, and that in the future they plan to further strengthen friendly ties between the states. During the meeting, information was provided on such areas as the activities of the International Organization, further improvement of the program of these Games.
It was emphasized at the meeting that the geography of participating countries and disciplines is expanding, competitions are held on the basis of sports principles. Also, in order to increase the prestige of the competitions, the issue was raised that the upcoming Games should be licensed for the Olympics.

Within the framework of the Assembly, Oybek Kasimov met with the heads of the National Olympic Committees of a number of countries and talked about the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
It is worth noting that athletes from 56 countries of the world take part in the Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya. Uzbekistan is one of the largest delegations, 265 athletes will defend the honor of the Motherland.
According to the press service of the NOC, so far by this time the national delegation has 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals. The grand opening of the competition will take place on August 9.
