According to the Associated Press, the Joseph Biden administration is canceling the requirement that international travelers submit a negative result for COVID-19 during the day before boarding a flight to the United States.
"This step was made possible thanks to the progress we have made in the fight against COVID-19," said US Secretary of Health Xavier Becerra.
At the same time, the US authorities said they would continue to monitor the state of the pandemic and re-evaluate the need for testing if the situation changes.
