Startups from youth technology parks will be sent to train abroad

    Resolution No. 522 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 08/20/2024 "On further improvement of the activities of the Nukus Youth Technopark" was adopted.

    The Agency for Innovative Development is charged with:

    · to announce a startup competition to create prototypes of new products and technological solutions aimed at solving socio-economic problems in the relevant regions;

    · To hold an annual conference, usually in October, dedicated to the implementation of projects aimed at solving environmental problems in the Aral Sea region.

    The Agency also organizes a competition to select the authors of successful startups of the Nukus Youth Technopark and other regional youth technoparks to send them to short-term foreign internships in robotics, mechanotronics, information technology, artificial intelligence, construction and agriculture.

    The deadlines for the creation of youth technology parks in the regions have also been revised: in Bukhara, Namangan, Ferghana, Khorezm, Jizzakh, Surkhandarya and Kashkadarya regions, they will be created in 2024.

    From now on, you can also apply for doctoral studies through the EPIGU (previously, only through the Unified Electronic System of Innovation).
