The event was attended by a delegation led by Dr. Chungwon Choe, President of World Taekwondo, as well as Nenad Lalović, President of United World Wrestling, Otabek Umarov, First Deputy Chairman of the National Olympic Committee (NOC), and Sherzod Toshmatov, Deputy Chairman of the NOC and Chairman of the Uzbekistan Taekwondo WT Association, along with other high-profile guests.
During the opening ceremony, athletes from participating nations entered the magnificent sports arena to the sounds of fanfares. Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Chungwon Choe highly praised the extensive work being carried out in our country to develop and popularize Taekwondo WT. Specifically, he expressed sincere gratitude to Adham Ikromov, Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Otabek Umarov, First Deputy Chairman of the NOC, and Sherzod Toshmatov, Chairman of the Uzbekistan Taekwondo WT Association.
The ceremony concluded with a vibrant and high-level show program by the "World Taekwondo Performance Team," leaving the audience with an unforgettable impression.
