On June 9 of this year, Azam Ibrogimov, a railway track maintainer of the 20th workshop mechanized brigade of the Tashkent Railway Distance Enterprise, a branch of the "Tashkent Regional Railway Junction", demonstrated a true example of courage while performing his duties.
While working near the Qorasuv canal, which flows through the Sergeli district, he spotted two young girls being washed away by the canal current and calling out for help. Making a quick decision at the scene, the railway worker immediately dove into the canal and rescued the child, who was in a dangerous situation due to the strong current.
The courage and selfless action of Azam Ibrogimov were highly commended, and the management of "O'zbekiston Temir Yo'llari" JSC presented him with a letter of appreciation, a commemorative gift, and a monetary reward.
