International Agreement between Uzbekistan and Germany enters into force

    On October 2, 2020, the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on establishment of a local Bureau of the Credit Institute for Economic Recovery (KfW) in Tashkent, signed on December 24, 2019 in Tashkent, entered into force.

    International Agreement aims to coordinate and assist through the local office in preparation and implementation of financial cooperation projects and programs implemented jointly with the German Government and KfW.
    The Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been appointed as the responsible body for the implementation of the agreement.
