According to the Report, Trump posted the corresponding message on Truth Social.

"My phone conversation with Russian President Putin today was very good and productive," he wrote.

Trump also said that he had discussed with Putin the provisions of the agreements on the settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

"Many elements of the peace treaty were discussed, including the fact that thousands of soldiers are dying, and both President Putin and President Vladimir Zelensky want this to stop," the US president wrote.

Following the conversation, Trump stressed that now the work on the introduction of a complete cessation will accelerate.: "The process is now underway in full force and with full consequences. And hopefully, for the sake of humanity, we will do this job. We agreed to an immediate cease-fire on all energy and infrastructure facilities with the understanding that we will work quickly to achieve a complete cease-fire and, ultimately, to end this terrible war between Russia and Ukraine," the American leader wrote.
