Trump: I don't think Ukraine will win the war

"They can still win. I don't think they will win, but theoretically they can. I never said they would win, I said they could win. Anything can happen," CNN quoted Trump as saying.

Less than a month ago, the head of the White House claimed that Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, was "capable of fighting and regaining" its entire territory within its former borders. "With the passage of time, the patience and financial support of Europe and, in particular, NATO, the restoration of the original borders from which this war began is quite possible," the American leader pointed out.
