The head of state announced the temporary abolition of tariffs of 25 percent on imports from Mexico following a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump.
"From now on, the tariffs [imposed by the United States] are suspended for a period of one month," she explained.

As CNN notes, Washington's decision effectively abolished duty-free trade between the countries, which had existed for several years.
