Trump intends to resolve conflict between Thailand and Cambodia with a phone call

US President Donald Trump stated his intention to resolve the conflict between Thailand and Cambodia with a phone call.

Bloomberg reported this. "I'll have to make a call to both countries tomorrow... Who else can say, 'I'm going to make a phone call and stop a war between two very strong countries?' We're achieving peace through strength," the American leader said.

Earlier, Trump had claimed to have resolved eight different conflicts this year.

On December 8, fighting was reported to have resumed on the Thai-Cambodian border. Prior to this, the Thai army had called for the evacuation of residents from the border areas, reported by lenta.ru.
