During the meeting, the guests were provided with information about small industrial zones specializing in the leather and shoe industry. According to the Decree of the President, such MPZS are being created in 16 districts of Uzbekistan. The zones will include all the necessary conditions, including connection to power supply networks and relevant utilities.
In these territories, it is planned to locate enterprises of the leather and shoe industry, as well as manufacturers of chemicals and components for the industry. This will ensure effective inter-industry cooperation.
For reference: at the moment, 6 investment projects totaling $ 46.7 million are under implementation in Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, the details of the new project were discussed, as well as favorable working conditions formed thanks to the systematic state support of business representatives. The investor is offered various locations for the construction of the plant, the features and advantages of each of them are explained.
The Turkish partner will visit a number of special small industrial zones of the leather and shoe industry to determine the future address of the new investment project.
