The National Leader of Turkmenistan warmly congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on his birthday, sincerely wishing him robust health, well-being, and continued success, as well as peace and prosperity to the brotherly people of Uzbekistan.
The current issues concerning the further development and strengthening of friendship, good neighborliness, and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, particularly in the context of the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the high-level meeting in Samarkand in April of this year, were discussed.
It was noted with satisfaction that mutual trade turnover is growing steadily, cooperation between enterprises and businesses is deepening, and cultural and humanitarian exchanges continue actively.
Views were exchanged on international and regional issues, including preparations for the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries and the next Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia.
