Presenting the high award, the President of Uzbekistan noted that this decision reflects the sincere respect and recognition by the people of Uzbekistan of the President of Turkmenistan’s contribution to strengthening friendship, mutual trust, and the strategic partnership between the two brotherly countries.

Major projects are being implemented in your country, creating a solid foundation for ensuring the well-being of the people”, the President of Uzbekistan emphasized.

This year has been marked by significant events held in Turkmenistan dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of the country’s Neutrality.

The contribution of Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the expansion of multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan was noted with satisfaction. Above all, this includes the comprehensive development of trade, economic, and cooperative ties. A major project – the “Shavat–Dashoguz” border trade zone – has been launched. Mutually beneficial cooperation in energy, transport, and logistics is advancing.

It was emphasized that this award will serve as a symbol of strong friendship and good-neighborliness. In turn, the President of Turkmenistan expressed gratitude to the Leader and people of Uzbekistan for the high recognition, as well as his commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
