The Tien Shan brown bear died after falling from a cliff in the mountains of Bostanlyk

    In the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region, the death of a brown bear has been confirmed, information about which had previously spread on social networks.

    According to the regional Department of Ecology, after the reports appeared, specialists from the district Department of ecology, together with employees of the Burchmullinsky State Forestry, went to the site to check.

    During the inspection, it was established that the dead animal belongs to the species of Tien Shan brown bears. The bear's body was found on the territory of the Chulokmergan site of the Korangy-Tokai forestry. According to preliminary data, the beast fell off a cliff from a height of about 70-80 meters.

    The animal's corpse has been temporarily placed in storage at the Burchmullinsky State Forestry until the necessary procedures are completed. An expert examination has been appointed to determine the exact cause of death, which will be conducted by the Expert Center of the Institute of Zoology of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan.

    After receiving the official conclusions, a legal assessment of the incident will be given. The Department of Ecology of the region took control of the situation.
