Cooperation with the Republic of Latvia in the field of ICT is being strengthened

Today, on January 27, an online meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to Uzbekistan Reinis Troshka was organized at the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications.

The Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov took part in it.

Issues of cooperation in the field of ICT were discussed at the meeting, in particular, within the framework of improving the activities of the IT Park, training personnel in the field of ICT. A proposal for cooperation with the StartUp Latvia technology center was put forward.

In particular, proposals have been put forward to establish cooperation between IT Park and StartUp Latvia, attract foreign experts, exchange experience, organize a visit of Latvian companies to Uzbekistan that are interested in the domestic IT market, the MITC press center reports.
