According to the Regulations, the marriage contract is drawn up by notaries directly in the notary office building, via videoconference or on-site at the request of applicants.
The applicant applies to the notary office personally or registers through the EPIGA to formalize the contract (my.gov.uz) or an information portal "E-notarius.uz ".
The notary establishes the identity of the applicant(s).
When certifying the contract, the notary verifies:
reaching the age of marriage by the parties;
has a marriage been concluded or not concluded between the parties;
absence of registration of marriage of one of the parties with another person;
whether the contract was concluded earlier.
After making payments and the draft agreement is fully ready, the parties are simultaneously invited to the notary to sign the agreement.
All copies of the contract are signed by the parties personally in the presence of a notary with full indication of the surname, first name and patronymic.
